In case of emergency and you are unable to teach a class or attend a pre-scheduled student-centered event/activity, in addition to emailing the circumstance to els@iit.edu, please use the following contacts in the order listed until you have received confirmation (email or verbal response) that the department is aware of the situation.
You must verify that the department is aware, so leaving a voicemail without hearing back does NOT suffice.

Please provide the course, section, location, and time of the class/activity. If a substitute can not be found for a class, we will ask that you notify students about a cancellation via Blackboard.
